I am so excited that I finally bought my first pair of Jimmy Choo’s!! Normally, I would never spend several hundred dollars on a pair of shoes but I decided to splurge for the wedding. Plus, living by the Woodbury Commons does have its perks. The outlets are substantially cheaper than regular stores. I also bought a dress to wear with the shoes for my bridal shower. I’ll post a pic soon!!
I am a HUGE fan of quotes! For as long as I can remember, every morning I check www.holliesquotes.com and read her quote of the day. She also has pages and pages filled with some of the best quotes in a huge range of categories. I am going to start updating my blog with some of my favorite quotes 🙂
I also wanted to share a very personal quote that my fiancé and I had tattooed together over the summer. Below is a pictures of the tattoos right after we got them. We chose a Shakespeare quote but changed the wording a tiny bit.
I decided to challenge myself a little further for the next few wedding outfits. First, I decided that I wanted to stay under $100. I also wanted to create outfits from one store so that if you love the outfit you can make one stop and purchase it. Coral is another great color for this season and I’ve always thought it looks especially good with a tan! All of the items are from Forever21 and cost $80.60! Plus nuede pumps and a great structured bag will go with so many other outfits and can also work for several seasons.
This would be the perfect dress for an outdoor wedding. Wedges are more practical than heels since they won’t get stuck in the ground. Florals are very popular this year and I love the print. I’ve always been a huge fan of pearls because they’re classic and elegant and so versatile. The total for this outfit is $181.
Peplum dresses are HUGE this season. At first, I thought this style of dress would be unflattering especially in the stomach area but it’s actually really flattering on most body types. For those with wider hips the gathered fabric at the waist is very slimming. On the other hand, those looking to appear curvier will in this style of dress. Flowers and neutral colors are also really hot right now. This whole outfit is $108.50.
Let’s face the facts. Shortly after you turn about 25…WHAM…your weekends are now consumed with weddings. Sure they’re a great time to catch up with old friends or family you haven’t seen in a long time but they don’t go easy on your wallet. Be glad that for this one your not a bridesmaid (According to a 2010 survey by WeddingChannel.com, the average bridesmaid will spend about $1695 on everything from gifts, to the shower, travel expenses etc.). So I decided to create a few outfits for wedding attendees this summer using Polyvore.com that are fabulous but won’t break the bank! The outfit below costs $96.60 and even better you just bought a great, new little black dress!
